As we announced a few weeks ago, Alberto Prieto today takes up his position as CEO of eks Energy.

Alberto Prieto, with a long and successful career within Hitachi Energy, will be the CEO of eks Energy from today.

He joins eks Energy from Hitachi’s Energy Transformers Business Unit, where he previously held the position of Global Portfolio Manager, and succeeds Javier Landero, who will assume new responsibilities as Chief Strategist at eks Energy. This change positions our company within Hitachi Energy for its next phase of intensive growth.

Thanks to his more than 25 years of experience occupying leadership positions in both manufacturing, operations and technical management at an international level, Alberto is the best candidate to accompany us in the integration with Hitachi Energy that will help us continue growing and accumulating successes.

As he himself stated when his appointment was announced: “Both eks Energy and Hitachi Energy are powerful technology providers in the energy transition.
