From eks Energy, we support female talent, which is why we have launched various actions to promote it.
As part of our Equality Plan and coinciding with the week in which the International Day of Women and Girls in Science took place, an activity has been launched to raise awareness and motivate female students: Talks in secondary schools.
The low rate of female students in university engineering studies, and STEM careers in general, continues to be a social reality, causing inequality in the rate of employees of companies in the technology sector.
For this reason, from eks Energy we want to do everything possible to change this scenario. That is why in the coming weeks some of our colleagues will go to different schools to tell students what led them to choose to study a STEM career, how were their years of study, how is their day to day in our company, what professional challenges they have had along their career ….
In addition, we will take advantage of these talks to disseminate the scholarships that will be launched from eks Energy to finance the studies of an Engineering Degree to two students, for the next academic year.
